1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AnteNow mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AnteNow is a social bracket pool application that allows users to create and join bracket pools for sports tournaments. Users can make bracket picks, track standings, and compete with friends. The App is intended for entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

4. Account Registration

• You may be required to provide a phone number, email address, or sign in with Apple to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information.

5. No Gambling

AnteNow is a free-to-play entertainment app. The App does not facilitate, promote, or involve real-money gambling, wagering, or betting of any kind. No real money, cryptocurrency, or anything of monetary value can be won or lost through the App. Bracket pools are for entertainment and social competition only.

6. In-App Purchases

Subscriptions

• The App offers optional annual subscription plans ("Starter" and "MVP" tiers) that unlock additional features such as more pools, higher player limits, and team mode.
• Subscriptions automatically renew each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store.
• Prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.
• AnteNow does not process cancellations or refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

Restoring Subscriptions

You can restore an active subscription by using the restore feature within the App. This requires being signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to interact with the App
• Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
• Use the App to send unsolicited communications or spam

8. SMS and Communications

• The App may send SMS messages for account verification and pool invitations.
• By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving these messages.
• Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply.
• You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

9. Contacts Access

If you grant the App permission to access your device contacts, this information is used solely to help you invite friends to bracket pools. Contact data is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

• The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by AnteNow and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Sports team names, logos, and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Their use in the App is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

11. User-Generated Content

By creating bracket picks, pool names, or other content within the App, you grant AnteNow a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

12. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• Sports data, scores, and tournament information are provided by third-party sources and may contain errors or delays. We are not responsible for the accuracy of this data.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference, or any college or university.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnteNow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to your account
• Any errors or omissions in the App's content
• Any third-party conduct or content on the App

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnteNow and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
