Welcome to AnteNow! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AnteNow mobile application ("App") operated by AnteNow ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnteNow, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AnteNow is a bracket pool management application that allows users to create and join bracket pools for college basketball (March Madness) and college football tournaments. Users make picks, track live scores, and compete on leaderboards with friends and family. The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers.

AnteNow is for entertainment purposes only. The App does not facilitate, promote, or support real-money gambling or wagering of any kind.

3. How Scoring Works

AnteNow uses a progressive scoring system for bracket pools. Points increase with each round to reward correct picks deeper into the tournament.

3.1 Individual Mode

Each player fills out their own bracket. Points are awarded for each correct pick:

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as your original subscription.

4.2 Managing Your Subscription

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap "Subscriptions"
• Select AnteNow to manage or cancel

4.3 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of any free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly.

5. User Accounts

You may sign in using Apple Sign In or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Account deletion is permanent, removing all your data, pools, picks, and memberships. This action cannot be undone.

6. Contact Data

When you use the "Invite Contacts" feature, the App accesses contact names and phone numbers stored on your device to send SMS invitations to your bracket pool. This data is handled as follows:

• Your full contact list is never uploaded. Only the name and phone number of the specific contact you select to invite is stored on our servers to track the invitation.
• Invites are sent using your phone's native SMS composer. We never send messages on your behalf.
• Unclaimed invites are automatically deleted 7 days after they are sent.
• Contact data is never shared with any third parties.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AnteNow and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (such as pool names and player information). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display this content as necessary to provide the service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTENOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
